Victorian 14kt Rose Cut Diamond Dog Stick Pin
An incredibly lovely stick pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful piece is made of rich 14kt yellow gold and portrays the face of a lovable dog. His expressive face includes superb features, including folds within the face, prominent jowls, floppy ears and textured fur-like surface throughout the face. A pair of sparkling old Rose Cut diamonds represent each of his eyes - a beautiful finishing touch! The bar pin is stamped "14KT". Measurements: The stickpin measures 2 31/4" in total length. The dog's face measures 3/8" tall and wide, and is about 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the stickpin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and both diamonds are intact and securely set.
