Victorian 14kt Foil Backed Art Glass Cherub Necklace
An exquisite cherub necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and features an art glass cherub face resting between a set of feathered angel wings. The angelic details are exceptional, showing fine facial features, curled hair and realistic individual feathers. Surrounding the entire outer surface is a rosy yellow gold bezel setting. and the back of the piece is foil backed, which gives the translucent art glass an incredible semi-iridescent appearance. The winged cherub pendant hangs from a delicate yellow gold chain, which attaches to the back of each wing at a simple hidden bail.
