Victorian 9kt/14kt Link Bracelet with Padlock Heart Clasp 11.4dwt
A gorgeous and romantic link bracelet from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! This simple, yet wonderful rose gold piece is comprised of large, round 14kt gold links that meet at a 9kt heart-shaped padlock clasp. The round links interlock together and display a smoothly polished surface that reflects the light beautifully with every turn. The lovely padlock clasp is embellished with 4 "screws" and a keyhole cutout at the center provides a final realistic accent. The padlock handle opens with a push clasp on the side and fastens securely shut with the help of a safety chain and a spring ring clasp for extra security. Stamped on the back and side of the heart are several hallmarks, including "HALF SNAP," a "HC&S" maker's mark, "PATENT," and a "9C" gold purity mark, which is also found stamped on one of the last links.
