Victorian 18k Ruby & Diamond Halo Ring

A gorgeous ruby and diamond halo ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this ring features a .85ct oval cut ruby, which is held within a ten-prong setting. The ruby displays a deep, luscious red hue, and the stone is surrounded by a halo of 10 prong-set old mine cut diamonds. Together, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 1ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The shoulders of the ring feature a dainty cutout-design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A lovely ring, this piece would look lovely worn alone or paired with other Victorian-era gemstone rings!

Measurements: The ring is a size 6, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.65mm.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the stones are intact and securely set.
