Victorian 18k Ruby and Diamond Navette Ring
An exquisite and colorful navette ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this ring features an ellipse-shaped navette-style centerpiece. The centerpiece features a central row of cushion-cut Burmese rubies. The rubies are bead-set, and vary slightly in size. However, all of the rubies display a luscious pinkish-red hue and the stones have a carat weight of 1ctw. The rubies are surrounded by a halo of mine cut, prong-set diamonds, which have a total carat weight of 2ctw. The shoulders of the ring feature a unique scrolling-motif design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. An eye-catching piece, this ring would make a lovely and unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 8.25, but could easily be resized. The centerpiece measures 3/4" tall and 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the stones are secure and intact.
