Victorian 14k Rock Quartz Crystal Teardrop Earrings
A gorgeous pair of rock quartz crystal earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in bright 14kt gold, the earrings have a lovely dangling design. At the base is a teardrop-shaped link, hanging freely below a complimentary "Pool of Light" surmount. The round orb at the top is contained within a wrapped wire setting, and attached to a gold earring wire. A decorative gold cap tops the teardrop link at the base. When worn, the earrings frame the face beautifully, and dangle with lovely movement. These stunning earrings could be worn day or night, and would make a versatile addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 2" long (including the wire tops). The teardrop links at the base measure 1" long, and 1/4" wide and thick. The moonstone orbs measure 8mm in size.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, or to any of the carved rock quartz crystal links, which are free of chips or scratches. The earring wires are securely attached and in good condition.
