Victorian 14k Etruscan Ball-Motif Dangle Earrings
A fantastic pair of earrings with Etruscan-style flair from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, each earring begins with a dome-shaped surmount. The circular-surmount is adorned with raised, twisting wirework, and the bottom of the link features a row of small three-dimensional gold balls. The earrings then feature 4 smooth and simple gold rod extensions, which vary slightly in length. Each extension features a circular ball, which is decorated with matching raised, twisting wirework. One of the balls is significantly larger than the others, and the earrings feature fantastic movement. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires. An elegant pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/16" long (including the earrings wires) and measure about 3/8" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, this is no apparent damage to the gold balls, dangling extensions, or earring wires.
