Late Victorian 18k Sapphire Cross Pendant Necklace
A beautiful sapphire cross pendant necklace from the Late Victorian (ca1900s)era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold, the pendant is lined with 10 square step cut sapphires, and one rectangular cut sapphire. The deep, rich blue sapphires are channel set and weigh approximately 2.25ctw combined. At the top of the cross is a complementary gold bail and matching 18k cable chain. The chain secures with a small push clasp.The simple design and delicate size of the pendant make this a perfect everyday piece!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 1/8" long, including the bail at the top. The chain measures 18" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the sapphires are intact and securely set. The bail and push clasp are both secure and in working order.
