JUGENDSTIL Art Nouveau German Sterling Silver Aqua & Marcasite Ring
A bold ring by German designer, Jugendstil, from the Art Nouveau (ca1910s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this ring features a rectangular centerpiece, which is adorned with 2, bezel-set, round cut aqua stones. The aquas display a lovely pale blue hue, which wonderfully contrasts the sterling silver setting. The centerpiece also features 3, rows of bead-set marcasite stones, which curl between the 2 aquas. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features an "835" purity mark. A unique depiction of Art Nouveau-era craftsmanship, this ring would make a lovely addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 7.25, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.89mm. The centerpiece has a height of just over 3/4" and a width of just under 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is not apparent damage to the sterling silver setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set.
