Edwardian 14K Star Sapphire Flush Mount Ring

A beautiful star sapphire flush mount ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This stunning ring has a flush-set star sapphire cabochon set amidst a classic gold flush mounting. The star sapphire displays a wonderful pinkish-purple hue, which creates a wonderful contrast to the gold mounting. The large stone has a carat weight of 2.5ct, and has not been treated with heat. The band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped with a "14K" purity mark. A classic piece with a colorful "pop", this ring would make the perfect addition to any Edwardian jewelry collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 8, but could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring rests approximately 3/8" above the finger.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the star sapphire is secure and intact.
