Art Nouveau Mixed Metals "Aesthetic Movement" Art Easel Stick Pin
A fabulous stick pin from the Art Nouveau (ca1900) era! This wonderful 14kt gold piece depicts a 3-dimensional art easel and painting resting at the top of a stick pin. The image on the painting displays a wonderful Aesthetic Movement design, which consists of a crane, budding flowers, and moss-covered ground. The lovely scene comes to life with hand etchings and raised details, along with platinum, rose gold, and green gold accents, to create a fabulous mixed metals appeal. The miniature painting rests on the ledge of the easel, while the edges of the stand extend out from the top and bottom, closely resembling a real art easel. Attached to the back is a long stick pin, perfect for fastening the piece to a favorite garment.
