Art Deco French 18k/Platinum Onyx & Diamond Cufflinks
Beautiful mixed metals cufflinks from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of 18k white gold and platinum, these French-made cufflinks have a very attractive design and signature Deco look to them. Each octagonal cufflink houses one plate of square onyx bordered by 12 rose-cut diamonds in bead settings. The cufflinks are hallmarked in a number of different places including the connector links, as well as the bails of each individual piece where the connectors attach. The hallmarks include the French eagle, as well as a weevil for platinum and 18k. An incredibly handsome and classy pair of cufflinks from the Deco period, these would look wonderful on a man or woman!
Measurements: Each cufflink face measures 12mm or 1/2" square, and 1 1/8" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting, or to the onyx or diamonds.
